Wednesday and Thursday were relaxation days. The boys did their schooling in the morning and on Wednesday afternoon we headed to Golden Bay beach just a few kilometres away on the other side of the island. The bonus to this beach is drinks are allowed so we three of the older persuasion enjoyed a very good mojito.
Thursday was a very windy day, and the seas were a bit rough. Personally, watching and listening to an angry sea is quite enjoyable. The boys and I walked to a small ledge a few hundred metres from our flat to tempt the seas to get us wet.
At the very top right of the pic below, where the cars are parked, is where our flat is…overseeing the sea.
Looks like quiet a few people swimming at the beach?
